ACE Code Summer Workshops

ACE Coding is hosting FREE summer workshops at the Pleasanton Public Library! There is no coding experience or fee necessary for any of the workshops. However, please note that a laptop is REQUIRED for all workshops. Also, each workshop has limited spots available; please use the forms below to register. You must register ahead of time in order to participate in the workshops.


Scratch ~ Basic Game Developing

Description: Learn one of the most basic and simple coding languages, Scratch. You will be making a couple fun programs and games, including a chase simulator and maze games.

Grades: 6-12

HTML ~ Website Creator

Description: Learn the basics of HTML, a regularly used coding language for making websites. Create your own website and learn the various things you can do with it.

Python ~ Rock, Paper, Scissors

Description: Learn simple coding concepts, such as if/else statements and date types with Python and make a rock, paper, scissors game."

Java ~ Guess the Number

Description: Learn the basics of Java, using a commonly used concept, random numbers, to create your very own number guessing game.
